Summary:Intelligent diagnosis based on dynamic ultrasound utilizes machine learning and image processing technologies to improve the speed and accuracy of ultrasound video diagnostics, thereby providing reliable diagnostic assistance and decision support for clinicians. This paper reviews the intelligent diagnostic methods based on machine learning and deep learning in dynamic ultrasound, as well as the latest developments and applications of dynamic ultrasound in the medical field. We classify the applications of dynamic ultrasound into six categories and provide detailed discussions on the use of machine learning, particularly deep learning, in intelligent diagnosis. The primary research areas explored include image enhancement, object detection, real-time segmentation, and reinforcement learning, with an emphasis on highlighting key contributions and identifying specific challenges. Following an in-depth survey of each category, a brief assessment is presented to summarize the achievements and future trends. Ultimately, we have curated a comprehensive collection of publicly accessible ultrasound video datasets for researchers to employ in their investigations.
