| description | Geopolymer has been developed as a new type of green inorganic cementitious material in recent years. It is considered a potential substitute for ordinary Portland cement (OPC). Its durability is identified as the key factor affecting its application. A comprehensive and systematic knowledge map is helpful to evaluate research frontiers and identify knowledge gaps. Therefore, the study of geopolymer durability is deemed necessary. Bibliometrics is defined as a method for revealing the laws and trends of scientific research through statistical analysis of literature data. Based on this approach, the literature on geopolymer durability in the Web of Science (WOS) database is statistically and quantitatively analyzed. The results show that the number of publications has increased year by year, and the networks of authors, institutions and country analysis show a strong correlation. In summary, the research status and potential hot spots in geopolymer durability are systematically evaluated. The factors affecting geopolymer durability are summarized in detail. These analyses aim to facilitate more thorough investigations and improve the durability of geopolymers. Additionally, the challenges faced by existing research and the development trends of future research are discussed. The potential of geopolymer durability was highlighted by these results, and the importance of future research directions was emphasized. |
