| description | The aim of this paper on the current state of administrative appeals is to present an overall picture of the effectiveness of administrative justice, to the extent that the available data allow us to do so. To this end, and using statistics that show the lack of effectiveness of ordinary appeals, we identify the main problems of the aforementioned administrative appeals and then go on to make some de lege ferenda proposals for their improvement. These proposals arise from the study of the strengths of the special/sectorial appeals and from some successful experiences of other conflict resolution mechanisms, such as the Provincial Jury of Forced Expropriation, the Barcelona Tax Council and the University ombudsmen. |
