Description
Summary:Abstract The goal of this article is to determine the relationships between the related terms entrepreneurship – innovation, development – socialising institution Material and methods The related terms mentioned in the title will be subject to semantic reconstruction. The article is theoretical in nature, and relies on a critical discussion of those terms and concepts. Results The article confirms that the meanings of those terms are interrelated. The article follows logical steps to substantiate the claim that entrepreneurship and innovation are related concepts, and the latter is a way to express the former. In addition, the paper provides evidence to show that those concepts underlie social roles and attitudes through which social actors participate in development. Conclusions The analysis leads to a conclusion that economy is a space where people can create things together and compete in a reflective fashion. And universities should prepare people for this.
