Summary:A method to deal with transmission error (TE) and realization in a measurement system on assembly line is introduced, which is designed for transmission chain of final drive in vehicle. In this system, three angle displacement signals which are obtained from driving gear, left and right axle shaft via precise rotary encoder, are processed synchronously with CPLD device. By means of interpolation, angle displacement functions are approximately recovered from discrete signal data. And finally, the purpose of TE precise measurement becomes available from operating these functions on the principle of transmission relationship .
