Summary:Research on the bearing characteristics of heavy hydrostatic bearing in heavy equipment manufacturing industry,considering the influence of film thickness on the bearing capacity and pressure distribution of hydrostatic bearing under different working conditions,3D model and boundary condition of hydrostatic bearing oil film are established. Discussing the influence of oil film thickness variation on pressure field and oil chamber pressure under hydrostatic bearing running in the no-load 0 t,load 40 t,full load 150 t and the rotating speed of 10 r /min,by using CFD ( computational fluid dynamic) principle,dynamic mesh technology and FLUENT software. The results show that the oil cavity pressure increases with the decrease of oil film thickness,when the oil film decreases to a certain value,the pressure and bearing characteristics of oil cavity increases significantly.
