| Summary: | This study dealt with the publishing and editing of two documentstransferring agricultural land plots in the nineteenth century. It's a rare documentembodying a period of confusion in the transformation of agricultural propertyfrom ownership by usufruct of tax land to the absolute possession. Thedocumentary historical analytical approach, both the synthetic and analytic, isused to analyze content of the documents, and then set up a historic construct toextract information from these documents and link them to other historical factswritten down in the different sources. This study concluded that many laws andregulations were passed for agricultural tax-land to be for the peasants. However,they did not benefit from this, only large landowners benefited. The study alsodrew an accurate picture of how to document legal transfer of farmland at the endof the nineteenth century, and revealed an increase in the proportion of litigationfees at the end of the nineteenth century which amounted to 5% of the legalaction. |
