Summary:Discussions about the necessity for a new dimension of the basic schoolto transform it in an inclusive space are happening constantly and the researchesconcerning the formation teachers improvement trainings in order to let themcooperate in the (re)construction of this school becomes prominent. The SpecialEducation teacher could be seen as a professional that could have an importantpart on the construction of inclusive educational spaces. The main point is torecognize aspects such as technical competence and political convictions of theteachers, added to basic execution conditions of a project which contemplates allaspects found in Brazilian society. This article a survey research results has theobjective to delineate a profile of teachers that work in special schools in the cityof Fortaleza CE Brazil. 15 special school teachers have been interviewed. Theresults have been organized with Contents Analysis (BARDIN, 1977). The teachersemphasized the objective difficulty to incorporate inclusive techniques in the basicschool, which could subliminally indicate a refusal of the learning possibilities andstudents development with special educational necessities in the regular school.Studies like this could help us to create new alternatives of teachers training toconstruct a true inclusive basic school.
