| description | Este trabajo revisa la novela Falke de Federico Vegas, que narra la infructuosa invasión de Venezuela en 1929, por parte de un grupo de exiliados provenientes de París, opositores del régimen tiránico de Juan Vicente Gómez. En este sentido, me interesa analizar cómo abordar un malestar del pasado, desde la literatura, permite discutir las explicaciones elaboradas en torno a la historia y plantear ciertos paralelismos con la situación política en la contemporaneidad venezolana. Asimismo, estudiar el modo como el pasado es desplazado al registro literario y lo que emerge al movilizar los límites que arbitran el saber histórico y lo distinguen de la invención literaria.This paper revisits Federico Vegas’s novel Falke based on a historical event about a group of Venezuelans, exiled in Paris who tried a fruitless invasion during Juan Vicente Gómez’s tyrannical regime in 1929. In this respect I am interested in analyzing how to address a discomfort from the past, from the literature point of view, allowing the discussion of the explanations that have been created around this historical event and how fiction develops parallel in relation to the current political situation in Venezuela. In this project I will study how the past is replaced by the literary record and what results by shifting the limits that define the historic knowledge from the literary invention. |
