However, the modern imaging techniques, such as ultrasound (US) and spiral computed tomography (SCT) are needed to assess the extent of tumor invasion into the gastric wall and adjacent organs as well as lymph node involvement and metastatic spread.Conclusion.The role of US and SCT in diagnostic imaging of cardioesophageal cancer was studied and the examination algorithm using US and SCT with conventional X-rays was offered. |
