One new species, Cheilosia pangeoensis Van de Meutter & Bot sp. nov., is here described in full. The DNA barcode of this species was sequenced and compared to similar species. This species was discovered on Mount Pangeon in northern Greece, an isolated mountain next to the Mediterranean coast, and was later also found to be present in Bulgaria. |
