description The new historical context within which the current generation of political elites exists can be conditionally characterized as a political carnival, and the dominant political culture as a carnival of political culture. In the media, we increasingly come across such derogatory characteristics of the professional competence of elites and their leaders as: “political zoo”, “political traveling circus”, “political booth”, “absurd theater”, “attraction of unheard-of political stupidity”, “political menagerie” , "clowns", "jesters", "satires", etc., etc. All this "terminology" conveys and reveals the essence of the carnival political culture, which is primarily carried by the elites and their leaders. The general level of distrust among politicians is growing caused by an elementary misunderstanding of each other's interests and mutual accusations of deceit. Features of the political carnival clearly manifest themselves in the information field of the ruling elite communities. Without going into specifics and without naming names, we will try in this work to reveal some common (characteristic of the elite majority) features and characteristics of modern carnival political culture. This study provides some clarification of the main positions of the carnival political culture, based on recent political events.
