Description
Summary:In this article, we chose initially to start from a paradoxical command (i.e. the need to use techniques of literary fiction to give a better representation of the real world and to account for it) to anchor our study in a particular journalistic practice, knows as “narrative journalism”, that we define as a way of writing that deliberately relies on fictional resources to review and comment upon the facts and then, in a second time, make them available to the general public. Then, in a second stage, we develop cross reflection on narrative journalism and storytelling, which have complex and ambiguous relationships with the proven real as well as with fictional invention.
