| Summary: | In this research the effect of annealing and Argon Laser Irradiation on some optical properties of CuO thin films have been done. Thin films were prepared by chemical spray pyrolysis technique . The thickness of films was 1000 A°. Optical properties such as Reflectance, Energy band gap and Absorption coefficient as a function of photon energy have been studied within the wavelength range of (300-900) nm, using UV-visible Spectrophotometer, before and after annealing and irradiation. It is found that the optical properties are changed.
