Description
Summary:This study resolves defocusing artifacts in conventional Range-Doppler (RD) algorithms for Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) imaging of maneuvering targets by introducing a multi-synchrosqueezing transform (MSST)-based high-resolution imaging method. The methodology integrates motion compensation to suppress translational interference, models range cell echoes as multi-component Polynomial Phase Signals(PPS), and deploys MSST’s superior time-frequency localization for reconstructing 3D range-time-Doppler energy distribution from 2D radar data. By extracting instantaneous Doppler features through energy concentration optimization, the framework achieves enhanced ISAR image resolution. Simulation and experimental results demonstrate that this method significantly outperforms conventional RD algorithms and standard time-frequency analysis techniques in time-frequency focusing performance under complex target motion conditions.
