The importance of serum levels and genetic characteristics of anti-inflammatory cytokines in patients with atopic dermatitis

The article presents the results of the IL-4, IL-10 and IL-13 serum level study in patients with atopic dermatitis and evaluation of the ratio between the obtained values and the occurrence of the genotypes of the selected polymorphisms in the encoding genes. The results showed higher concentrations...

description The article presents the results of the IL-4, IL-10 and IL-13 serum level study in patients with atopic dermatitis and evaluation of the ratio between the obtained values and the occurrence of the genotypes of the selected polymorphisms in the encoding genes. The results showed higher concentrations of IL-10 and IL-13 in patients with atopic dermatitis. There were no significant changes in serum levels of IL-4 in patients with atopic dermatitis and healthy volunteers.
