El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo hacer un breve recorrido —junto a un análisis reflexivo y crítico— por las diferentes redes solidarias de personas trans que se han estructurado en Sudamérica en diálogo con América Latina y el Caribe, y que actualmente están envueltas en las dinámicas impuestas por la pandemia de la COVID-19. La investigación fue realizada, principalmente, a partir de distintos recursos bibliográficos de organizaciones vinculadas a la Red Latinoamericana y del Caribe de Personas Trans (REDLACTRANS) y de las acciones que aquéllas están haciendo por la región. Para sustentar aún más nuestro trabajo, también utilizamos análisis de periódicos locales e internacionales, sitios web de organizaciones y redes sociales, textos sobre la salud trans, Derechos Humanos y estudios de género, además de entrevistas que aplicamos a algunas de las activistas de estos movimientos sociales. A partir de esta información, nuestra idea fue estructurar una sólida crítica a los límites del Estado y sus estructuras de poder, que conllevan a la ausencia de personas trans dentro de ellas, al deteriorado acceso a la salud que están sufriendo, así como a la fuerte exclusión e injusticias que la maquinaria estatal ejerce sobre los sujetos transgénero, lo que, en efecto, simboliza el más claro apoyo a la marginalización de estas identidades.
Abstract
This article aims to take a brief overview —along with a reflective and critical analysis— through the different solidary networks of transgender people that have been structured in South America in dialogue with Latin America and the Caribbean, where they are currently involved in the dynamics imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The research was carried out, mainly, from different bibliographic resources of organizations linked to the Latin American and Caribbean Network of Trans People (REDLACTRANS) and the actions carried out throughout the region. It is of utmost importance based on the analysis of local and international newspapers, the websites of organizations and social networks, texts on trans health, human rights and gender studies, in addition to interviews with some of the leaders and activists of some of these social movements. Based on this information, our purpose was to structure a criticism around the limits of the State and its power structure, and the absence of trans people in the decisions of the governments; questioning the limited access to health in which these people are victims because rejection of the State against injustices and their support in the marginalization of these identities. |
