Description
Summary:This study presents a 32-year-old man with a history of worsening bilateral proptosis, headache, and complete left eye vision loss who was diagnosed with allergic fungal rhinosinusitis with superimposed bacterial infection. This patient's condition required a multidisciplinary approach involving the departments of internal medicine, ophthalmology, pathology, and infectious diseases. Surgical and medical intervention resulted in resolution of proptosis and return of vision to 20/25 in the left eye by 3-month follow-up, highlighting the importance of collaborative care in managing complex cases with severe presentations.
