Description
Summary:A mask-phase method of localization of straight lines in an image is proposed. It is based on a preliminary quantization of line segments with respect to orientation by using a library of binary masks and rectification of straight lines by using oriented Hough transform. The method allows improving the speed and quality of straight lines localization if there are changes of brightness, contrast and image noise.
