| description | Incorporating nanoparticles into the resin used for 3D printing represents a novel approach to counteracting the limitations of the material. Thus, this review is structured to address the interaction between the inorganic nanoparticles and organic matrix and to critically analyze the impact of various nanoparticles on the qualities of the resin. Furthermore, it examines the cytocompatibility and antibacterial properties gained by the inclusion of nanoparticles. The study concludes that, provided the percentage of nanoparticles does not exceed the saturation level of inter-polymeric chains, inorganic nanoparticles can improve the mechanical, physical, and antibacterial properties of the resin used for 3D printed complete dentures.
