Summary:Clinical cases of long-lasting urethritis in men are presented, during complex examination of which the only etiological agent revealed low-copy N. gonorrhoeae DNA, by PCR RT. After the obligatory confirmation of N. gonorrhoeae high-copy rRNA, with an alternative method of Nasba, an effective treatment of low-symptom gonococcal infection, the disappearance of the clinical symptoms of urethritis was observed, and N. gonorrhoeae eradication.
