Description
Summary:Even today, theoretical inquiry remains central to restoration practice. The preservation of cultural heritage rests, first and foremost, on the ability to discern its intrinsic values and to make informed decisions about their transmission to future generations – prior to, and in support of, identifying the technical solutions that must ultimately shape any restoration project.
