Description
Summary:Since 2016, successive British Governments have been disrupting the operation of devolution. They negotiated Brexit with the EU on their own, without consulting their devolved counterparts. They also intend to interfere over devolved matters to cope with the legal and financial consequences of Brexit. These moves are at odds both with the autonomy of the Scottish Parliament and with the public policies that its members promote. They fuel unwavering demands for additional autonomy or even full independence.
