| Summary: | Diversification is a type of strategic planning of enterprise functioning, which is connected with extending investment activity. A process of diversification adequately planned and arranged could raise productivity of company work and each of its divisions. Russia has got a positive experience of production diversification in both civil and defense purpose products, however this experience was so dubious and controversial that hindered the development of a common concept. The theoretical basis of the strategy is not uniform and universal, which in its turn makes its application more complicated. The article studies the notion of diversification and shows key advantages of its use. The author analyzes consequences of incorrectly developed strategy of diversification in integrated economic structures and also provides stages of realizing the diversification strategy. |
