Its in- cidence in solid organ transplant recipients is 2–8% of all invasive fungal infections. In most cases, it occurs in the late posttransplant period. Risk factors in this patient cohort are graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) and use of immunosuppressive drugs. The article describes clinical cases of mucormycosis and analysis of literature data on the problem of invasive mucormycosis in solid organ transplant recipients. It also reviews the main methods of diagnosis and treatment of the disease according to international guidelines.
