The reduction of Cu(NO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>2</sub> by HS<sup>t</sup>Bu in CH<sub>3</sub>CN under Ar atmosphere produces a light-yellow solution containing numerous {Cu<sub>x</sub>(S<sup>t</sup>Bu)<sub>y</sub>} species....
