| Summary: | The paper illustrates the role of bioindicators applied to identify the sources and degree of pollution of a water basin. The laboratory test reports, standard methodologies and scientific literature considered as an auxiliary tool for the preparation and planning the sampling campaigns for the assessment of the ecological status of the aquatic environment (including sampling, analysis and microscopy) served as support. There were applied the results of the laboratory analyses from the reports on quality indices and technical report, which include qualitative elements of the general physicochemical conditions, hydromorphological and biological qualitative components from Valea Morilor lake.
