Description
Summary:The purpose of this study is to provide a theoretical framework that studies the mediating role of supply chain integration (SCI) in the relationship between total quality management (TQM) and innovation performance (IP). This Practical research was done by using the descriptive-correlation method. The statistical population of the study consisted of managers of SMEs in Golpayegan industrial town in Iran. The sampling method was simple random, and 137 companies were selected to determine the sample size by G*Power software. The validity of the questionnaires was confirmed using content and construct validity, and Cronbach’s alpha was used to assess their reliability. The data was analyzed by structural equation modelling in the SMART_PLS software. The research findings showed that TQM has a significant effect on IP and SCI. The impact of SCI on IP is also significant and positive. In addition, the mediating role of SCI in the relationship between TQM and IP was confirmed.
