Both reforms introduce more regulation and adequacy from one hand and more flexibility and individualization from the other hand. In this article we analyze the process of socialization to individualization during the secondary to higher education transition at the time of this new organization with contradictory logics. Based on 20 interviews with 2021 high school graduates, we describe the way they appropriated the new rules, uncertainly and with a very little degree of personalized support. Thus, the ingredients of socialization to individualization established by the reforms, prepare high school students for a difficult and unequal experience of the secondary to higher education transition. |
