| Summary: | An easy way to immobilize enzymes to a copolymer (PAG-carrier) prepared from phenylene diamine and glutaraldehyde is described. The possibility of using immobilized enzymes promisses a more efficient, and more economic use of enzymes in processes employed especially by the starch industry. Studies on PAG-immobilized enzymes such as amyloglucosidase, glucose isomerase and glucose- oxidase/catalase are presented here, and their application experiments for the production of glucose, fructose and gluconic acid are described.
