description The presence of more than one autoimmune disease in a patient can complicate not only the diagnosis but also pose a therapeutic challenge to the treating physician. Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a rare disorder which may overlap with a number of other autoimmune conditions. It is important to recognize its co-presence since the management of the accompanying autoimmune condition may need to be tailored accordingly. In this article, we describe two cases with MG overlap, one with primary Sjogren's syndrome and the other with Takayasu arteritis. Herein, we review the literature and clinical approach and management of such patients.
