Description
Summary:Through reviewing relevant literature and cases at home and abroad, we sorted out the language expression characteristics of healthcare providers that may lead to negative communication outcomes from three aspects: phonetics, grammar and vocabulary. A table was used to organize various types of patient aggression related to the language characteristics of healthcare providers. Subsequently, the relationship between language features and patient aggression was explored and analyzed using theories from interpersonal pragmatics, service marketing, management, psychology, and other multidisciplinary fields. The study clarified the impact of healthcare providers' language features on patients' emotions, service experience, and perceptions of fairness during medical treatment, aiming to provide a theoretical basis for understanding the mechanisms behind these interactions. Finally, control measures to prevent patient aggression were provided from the perspective of improving the language expression of healthcare providers.
