| Summary: | In recent decades there has been a dynamic process of political and economic liberalization, internationalization and globalization. Quite normally business development follows the general trend of the "opening" of markets, economic diffusion processes can be found at all levels, and the "intertwining" of national and foreign capital is considered natural course of economic development. The role of the banking sector in the development of any economy is undoubtedly important, but the whole process would not have been possible without the involvement of banks. In the light of the above, given the current economic crisis realities, given the financial sector in the creation of today's economic reality, the main goal of the study is to outline the challenges facing the banking supervision and bank accounts in relation to the sustainable development of the sector and national economy. |
