| description | This work is intended to analyse the origine of part of the manuscripts which were written by political prisoners during the last Argentinian dictatorship between 1976 and 1983. We will more specifically focus on the places, the mediums and the practices of the poetical writing, which developped rather surprisingly and in an unhoped for way despite the eminently precarious conditions to which the authors were exposed. We will not make a literary analysis of the poems here but we will instead first see how the detention centers were also, paradoxically, places of creation. Then, we will examine the ways in which various mediums and practices emerged, despite the obstacles conceived and used by the penitentiary authorities, to enable the circulation of this “unexpected” poetry. |
