Description
Summary:This data aims to analyze the intellectual structure of mobile money studies by examining bibliographic characteristics. A dataset of 165 documents from the Scopus database was used. This study explored various aspects, including annual publication counts, country coupling, source numbers, primary research areas, co-occurrence of keywords, bibliographic linkages between sources and documents, and co-citation patterns of references. Bibliographic network mapping techniques were applied to analyze the data. The analysis was performed using VOSviewer and the Bibliometrix R package, software tools for scientific mapping. The results showed four main themes of the mobile money dataset: mobile money in Africa, financial inclusion, electronic money, and digital financial services.
