Description
Summary:The review presents modern possibilities of early diagnosis of glaucoma using optical coherence tomography (OCT), angio-OCT and microperimetry. We analyzed literature data for the last decade, focused on testing patients with suspected glaucoma or diagnosed with glaucoma, including its various stages. The data confirm the advantages of OCT, angio-OCT anf microperimetry, such as fast testing procedures, non-invasiveness, high informativeness, sensitivity and specificity of the methods, as well as real possibilities of early detection of glaucoma, which are especially promising if a combination of methods is used.
