The genome sequence of the Ruddy Streak moth, Tachystola acroxantha (Meyrick, 1885) [version 1; peer review: 2 approved]

We present a genome assembly from a female Tachystola acroxantha (the Ruddy Streak; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Oecophoridae). The genome sequence is 388.1 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 31 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z and W sex chromosomes. The mito...

Description
Summary:We present a genome assembly from a female Tachystola acroxantha (the Ruddy Streak; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Oecophoridae). The genome sequence is 388.1 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 31 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z and W sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 15.45 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 12,656 protein coding genes.
