Description
Summary:“People who do not know their history are like a child who does not know his parents”, said Nicolae Iorga. The approach of the author of this work starts from the idea that history – the history of an entity or institution – is the best business card and confirms that those who do not learn from the achievements, but especially from the mistakes of the past, do not create a solid foundation for building the future. Therefore, the author enthusiastically joins other colleagues who show an increased interest in the institution’s past and follows the exhortation of the great poet Mihai Eminescu, who wrote: “If a generation can have a merit, it is that of being a faithful follower of history, of fulfilling the tasks necessarily imposed by the place it occupies in the chain of times.”
