| description | In the context of global sustainable development, the sustainability of the agricultural economy is the key to achieving economic, social, and ecological balance. As a developing country facing external blockades and resource shortages, Cuba's practice of sustainable development of the agricultural economy is of important research value. From the perspective of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, this article investigates the sustainable development of Cuba's agricultural economy, which belongs to the socialist camp, to reveal its successful experience and provide a reference for other developing countries. Under the guidance of dialectical materialism and historical materialism, this article adopts the methods of literature review, comparative analysis, historical analysis, empirical research, genetic analysis, value analysis and empirical analysis, through a multi-dimensional analysis framework, combined with literature review, case analysis, and field research data, constructs an index system including four dimensions of economy, ecology, society, and technology, deeply discusses - Cuba's agricultural economic development in the face of the dual challenges of external economic blockade and internal resource constraints, systematically evaluates the current situation of sustainable development of Cuba's agricultural economy, how to achieve sustainable development through internal innovation and strategic adjustment, and compares it with Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Starting from the basic national conditions of Cuba, this article recalls the development process of Cuba's agricultural economy, combs the current situation of Cuba's agricultural economy, and systematically analyzes the specific reasons for the sustainable development of Cuba's agricultural economy, such as the policy program of the agricultural economy, the land reform movement, scientific and technological innovation and application, the practice of ecological agriculture, and the wide participation of social forces, to reveal the internal excitation for the sustainable development of Cuba's agricultural economy. From the perspective of the sustainable development of Cuba's agricultural economy, we can see its prospects. At the same time, digital technology is introduced to analyze the potential for the sustainable development of Cuba's agricultural economy. The investigation found that the internal excitation for the sustainable development of Cuba's agricultural economy mainly stems from its unique agricultural policy, ecological agriculture practice, the active participation of farmers, the promotion of scientific and technological innovation, and the help of international cooperation. The internal excitation for the sustainable development of Cuba's agricultural economy is mainly reflected in the following aspects: first, policy innovation and institutional support, such as the reform of land distribution and the diversification of agricultural cooperatives; second, technological innovation and the promotion of ecological agriculture have significantly improved resource utilization efficiency and ecological benefits; third, social mobilization and farmer participation, through the combination of material and spiritual incentives, fully mobilized the enthusiasm of farmers. The sustainable development of Cuba's agricultural economy is the result of many factors. The sustainable development of Cuba's agricultural economy is similar to China's development concept in many aspects, which reflects the similar pursuit and practice of socialist countries on the road to development. In addition, the application of digital technology can provide new opportunities for the future development of Cuba's agricultural economy. This article systematically combines Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era with the sustainable development of Cuba's agricultural economy for the first time and provides a new theoretical perspective for the practical planning of the sustainable development of the agricultural economy in developing countries. Through quantitative analysis and international benchmark comparison, this article provides a scientific basis for the effectiveness of Cuba's agricultural economy, and further enriches the theoretical connotation of the construction of socialist ecological civilization. Marxist research design and methods are constantly developing and improving. Researchers must flexibly select methods based on specific research questions and objectives to enhance scientific-practical relevance. In practical research, it is often necessary to comprehensively use a variety of research methods to comprehensively and deeply analyze and solve problems. In the design of research methods, this article pays attention to the comprehensive use of a variety of research methods while paying attention to standardization and innovation. By analyzing the experience of Cuba, we can provide beneficial enlightenment and reference for the sustainable development of the agricultural economy in China and other developing countries. The sustainable development practice of Cuba's agricultural economy has provided valuable experience for the sustainable development of global agriculture. The concept of ecological civilization and green development in Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era are highly consistent with the development concept of ecological agriculture in Cuba, which provides theoretical support and practical guidance for the further development of the agricultural economy in the future. Future research should explore digital technology applications in Cuban agriculture and propose innovative approaches for global agricultural modernization. It is suggested to strengthen international cooperation, especially exchanges and cooperation with China in the fields of agricultural science and technology innovation and ecological agriculture.
