| Summary: | The paper examines the urgent problem of increasing the effectiveness of the state's struggle against extremism, which poses a threat to national security. In the structure of the state-legal mechanism for countering extremism created in Russia, the institutional, regulatory, and communicative parts are identified, designed to have a systemic organization, but in reality they do not provide stable inter-element connections-relations, as a result of which there remains a significant number of extremist crimes in the Russian Federation. RF and constituent entities of the RF included in the North Caucasus Federal District. To increase the effectiveness of the mechanism for countering extremism, it is proposed to organize its constant monitoring using the methods described in the article. |
