Description
Summary:The shutdown of a nuclear power plant questions the economic model the territory has developed. This contribution is based on a practical case, the shutdown of Fessenheim (France) and particularly his land conversion project. The analysis is structured in two parts: first, we will see that the impact scales put in place in the project vary with the scope of actions. Second, we insist on the difficulty of converting a territory that has known its development of a nuclear mono-industry. The ambition in the conversion project expresses to become an exemplary territory in the energy transition. We are basing on qualitative interviews with elected officials met in 2021 and show that isn’t so easy.
