| Summary: | The purposesof the study are: to determine the understanding and stages related to political communication strategies, the role of political parties in carrying out political communication strategies for the community. the role of political communication strategies in maintaining public trust and maintaining peace. The results of this study showed that political communication strategy is a strategy that plays an important role in increasing public trust and participation in politics. Communication strategy in politics is one of the keys to election success. Through this interwoven communication strategy, political parties are able to reach people's sympathizers or individuals who are still politically blind, not drifting in a wave of growing political apathy. Communication strategies undertaken by political parties are persuasive, either in the form of an invitation to stand on the same side, or an invitation to the people to play an active role in the sustainability of the political system in Indonesia. The role of political communication strategy is to build a good political image for the community, form and foster public opinion among the community, and encourage community political participation. |
