Summary:Passenger information system (PIS) of autonomous-rail rapid transit provides information services to passengers through station and on-board display terminals. The public address (PA) system broadcasts realtime and pre-recording voice to passengers through station loudspeakers, which is similar in system architecture and function to PIS. According to the common points of the two systems, a fusion scheme of passenger information system and broadcasting system was proposed in this paper, which mainly realizes the integration in UI, interface and function, etc. The paper also introduced the system architecture, function and characteristics. This scheme could reduces the hardware investment and the operation cost, realizes the data fusion, and enhances the automation level of ART.
