Article is devoted to a comparative assessment of a cone-beam computerized tomography and an panoramic radiograph, as to the most widespread type of X-rays inspection in stomatology. On the basis of the studied literature advantage of a cone-beam computerized tomography before an panoramic radiograph in different clinical situations is shown. Options of an anatomic structure of channels of the teeth which identification is possible only on the basis of computer tomograms are presented. Recommendations are made when carrying out diagnostic actions in the course of endodontics treatment.
