Description
Summary:Corporate social responsibility as a business management strategy requires the alignment of business objectives from the economic, social, and environmental perspectives, ensuring corporate profitability within a framework of sustainability. Governance plays a crucial role in achieving this balance. It is seen as a company's capacity to manage, administer, regulate, govern, and make decisions, among other things, with the participation of various stakeholders. In this sense, governance within the framework of social responsibility becomes a business challenge. The research aims to compare the responsible business behavior of service, commercial, and non-profit companies in the city of Ocaña within the framework of governance, in order to determine how these companies are managed. To this end, a non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive quantitative research approach was carried out. Documents based on theoretical frameworks of corporate social responsibility were consulted. An analysis of variance was performed using the information provided using SPSS statistical software. The results show how governance is developed and consolidated in the companies participating in the research.
