description Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic inflammatory skin disease characterized by eczema, dry skin and itching. It does not only affect the patients' daily life, but also imposes a huge economic burden on their families. Timely diagnosis and treatment, as well as strengthening the management of AD symptoms, can help control the progress of AD. With the development of information technology, the advantages of artificial intelligence (AI) in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of atopic dermatitis are becoming increasingly prominent. For example, it assists doctors in the diagnosis and evaluation of the therapeutic effectiveness, providing effective means for assessing the severity of atopic dermatitis, monitoring allergies and itching, and health education for patients. This review focuses on the application of AI in AD patients, aiming to provide a reference for the innovation of the application of AI in AD patients in China.
