However, airborne radars usually have a large squint, which has led to traditional SAR algorithms no longer being applicable to airborne SARs. Additionally, terahertz radar imaging systems are more susceptible to the error induced by the platform’s motion. This paper proposes a motion compensation method for terahertz SAR imaging with a large squint angle. First, the signal model of motion compensation is derived, and the processing flow of imaging and motion compensation is detailed. Second, some simulations and experiments are conducted, and the results are reported. The results indicate that the proposed method can effectively correct the motion errors, and the signal model and processing flow are verified.
