Summary:According to the problem that design tooth profile be destroyed owing to the thermal deformation of cylindrical gear,based on the heat transfer theory,a theoretical model of the relation between various tooth profile deviations and temperature rise is proposed first and verified base on the measurement data in experiment.Point out that it would occur deviation between design tooth profile and actual tooth profile due to the temperature rise of cylindrical gear,it is show that variation of every test item.The change law of every test item due to temperature rise is discussed in detail,and the change law of involute tooth profile is evaluated based on variation characteristics of test items.The result shows that the the change law of involute tooth profile is predicted by the model,and it has certain practical value for the study on thermal deformation of gear.
