Description
Summary:Abstract Objective The objective of this paper is to offer some reflections on the ontic experience of sexuality in women and to understand the reasons behind the many difficulties in experiencing it. Method Proposing a concept that includes the experience of affectivity and sexuality as a project of alterity for women. Results Faced with a patriarchal and phallocentric society, we consider that women do not experience their sexuality in their own way. The proposed concept is Being-with-the-other-in-amorosity, understood as a combined set that includes affectivity and movement toward understanding. This could provide Dasein with a more authentic experience, one that is more proper to a loving and sexual relationship. Conclusion Observing, reflecting, and meditating on what appears to us and how we will engage with it seems to be a path toward a more authentic and personal experience.
