Description
Summary:The article presents the results of the author's research, which assessed the development of students' professional skills when working in student projects. The authors formulated a hypothesis in which senior students demonstrate better results due to the mastery of relevant disciplines in the educational program, the effective use of digital services and technologies in the educational process and participation in projects. The study was conducted in an IT student group; the educational process of these students was divided into 4 stages, each of which included work in an IT project team. Professional skills were extracted from student work using natural language processing methods and technology, and an assessment of the degree of proficiency in skills and the dynamics of their development were calculated at all identified stages of the educational process. As a result of the study, the level and degree of development of skills were determined for each student, and groups in which an increase in the level of skills was observed were identified. The data obtained helps determine the effectiveness of team interactions and make decisions about how teams should be formed in the future and what measures should be taken to improve interaction between students. The results may also be useful for the development and modernization of work programs of disciplines in higher education institutions. This work is of practical importance, since it allows us to more accurately assess the level of development of students’ professional skills and take measures for their further improvement with the aim of a successful career and adaptation to the requirements of the modern labor market.
